Open Venue Time

Starting May of 2026 through the fall months, we will have open venue time with a Range Safety Officer present on Sundays, from 1-3 pm. Subject to cancellation due to venue construction, RSO availability, weather, etc… all late updates will go to our Facebook page.

This is time for Telemark Biathlon Club members who are US Biathlon rifle safety certified to use the range for training. Non members can also stop by for an introduction to biathlon experience. As long as there are targets and RSO availability, we will give you a brief session orienting you to a biathlon rifle, going through rifle safety, and helping you take your first biathlon target shots. You must complete a US biathlon waiver first, available here.

If you have recently completed the US Biathlon rifle safety certification course and need your in person assessment, Matt Wheeler is a local Basic Rifle Safety Assessor. Please reach out to us to coordinate this and make sure he will be present at the venue to get you checked off!
