Volunteer Hub

Telemark Biathlon Club wouldn’t exist without its dedicated volunteers. From working on the biathlon venue, to performing vital roles as Range Safety Officers, to coaching athletes, they are the heart of the club.

If you are interested in ways that you can contribute, please reach out to us.

Various tasks include:

• Venue maintenance (painting targets)
• Range Safety Officer, responsible for opening and closing the venue, monitoring activity. You must be a Coach member of US Biathlon ($95 annually) with completed SafeSport training. Telemark Biathlon Club with offer a $20 reimbursement off your next TBC annual membership if you become an RSO and logged at least four RSO volunteer times during the previous calendar year.
• Events (timing, spectator assistance, athlete assistance)
• Try It hosting (talking with participants, loading ammunition into magazines, managing on site registrations)

Did you know that you can also deduct 14 cents per mile when travelling from home to TBC? It may not be a lot, but every it counts! Your travel must be solely for the purpose of volunteering. You can use the form below to track, and then you can request your mileage from TBC when you are submitting your tax return.
